Youth Development Professional

The youth development professional plans, implements, and supervises activities for school-Age children focusing on academic success, character & leadership, and health & wellness outcomes. Responsibilities include leading activities like arts, sports, and field trips while serving as a positive role model and assisting with daily food program duties.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with basic computer skills and the ability to complete required dcf training and cpr training within specified timelines. Candidates must be flexible, responsible, creative, and capable of engaging with school children of all ages.
