Teacher I (Fresno County)

The teacher is responsible for the educational development of children in accordance with head start standards, including assessing individual needs and creating individualized plans. They also supervise teacher assistants, conduct home visits, and ensure a safe, healthy, and stimulating classroom environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and an associate’s degree in child development or early childhood education with at least 24 units. Additionally, 12 months of preschool teaching experience and various certifications such as cpr/First aid and mandated reporter are required.
