Practical Nursing Apprenticeship - South Shore

The incumbent will attend an accredited practical nursing education program while performing direct or indirect patient care duties at ochsner facilities. They are responsible for maintaining academic standing and transitioning to a licensed practical nurse position upon successful board examination.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be accepted into an approved practical nurse education program. A student nursing license and basic life support (Bls) certification are required prior to starting the program.
