The nurse will provide first aid and care for students and staff, manage daily health needs, and maintain student health records. They will also communicate with parents and support school safety initiatives.
Candidates must have a current RN or LPN license in Illinois and CPR and First Aid certification. Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
Mondays: 7:45 a.m. – 2:10 p.m.
Provide first aid and care for students and staff with illnesses or injuries during school hours. Administer prescribed medications in accordance with school policies and state regulations. Maintain accurate and confidential student health records. Monitor and report communicable diseases and other health concerns to administration as needed. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student health needs. Support school safety and wellness initiatives. Maintain the nurse's office, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Prior experience working with children or in a school setting preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills. Commitment to the mission and values of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School. Reports To: School Principals
