Description SS. Peter & Paul Catholic School, a Catholic elementary school serving grades PK-8, is seeking qualified and faith-filled Substitute Teachers to support student learning during teacher absences. The ideal candidate will uphold the mission and values of Catholic education, foster a nurturing classroom environment, and deliver instruction aligned with the school's academic and spiritual goals.
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Valid teaching credential or substitute permit is preferred. Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred. Practicing Catholic or committed to supporting the mission of Catholic education. Ability to follow lesson plans, manage a classroom, and adapt to a range of grade levels (PreK–8). Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualities: Understanding of and commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Experience working in faith-based or private school environments. Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative spirit. Working Conditions: School hours are typically from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm; however, they may vary. Must be able to supervise and interact with young children for extended periods. May be called on short notice depending on staffing needs.
