Job description

In-Home Infant & Toddler Early Intervention Teacher Support families. Empower parents. Change a child’s future.

LifeWorks is seeking compassionate, dedicated professionals who are excited to provide early intervention services in families’ homes and natural environments. This is meaningful, relationship-based work focused on coaching caregivers so developmental progress happens within everyday routines — where it matters most.

Responsibilities: Conduct developmental assessments using the DAYC-2

Implement IFSP goals using a family-centered, parent coaching approach

Support caregivers in building confidence and practical strategies

Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and community settings

Complete bi-annual progress reports and required documentation

Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and ethical standards in all interactions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Teaching, or related field OR Special Education teaching credential

Experience working with infants and toddlers with special needs

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Familiarity with documentation and relevant software systems

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move therapy materials/equipment

Ability to sit, stand, and actively engage with young children for extended periods
