$38.646 week summer Program 6 week summer program 7/2/26 - 8/14 /26 Requirements Education/Experience: Master's degree in Social Work or equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the State of New York. Certificates and Licenses: NYS Certification as a Social Worker as LMSW; LCSW preferred Consideration will be given for qualified candidates who are in the process of becoming Licensed Who we are: Wildwood School, a part of Wildwood Programs, provides a comprehensive educational program for students with autism spectrum disorders, and developmental disabilities to prepare them to be as independent as possible; Academic, social, employment, and functional skills are taught to each student as driven by their Individual Educational Plan (IEP), needs, and interests. Who we are looking for: We are looking for caring, compassionate and engaging Social Worker to help promote independence, self-esteem and social integration The Successful Candidate will exhibit professionalism and creativity, while working with the children and their families to enhance growth in the areas of self-expression and self-esteem, personal care and safety, relationships and interaction, problem-solving and conflict resolution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) Individual, group and crisis counseling Promote social skills development, emotional growth and situational counseling within classroom and community activities Participate in developing IEPs and report cards Support parents and teachers in addressing issues; consult with school personnel regarding students or situations. Build and maintain a professional relationship with families to address emotional needs, behavioral concerns, medical issues, future planning, community linkage, and other challenges faced by families with a disabled child. Work collaboratively with other professions to develop comprehensive education plan and services that address the needs of the whole child. QualificationsAdditional Requirements: A valid New York State Driver’s License and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
