Core responsibilities
The virtual special education teacher will implement and write individualized education plans (Ieps) while providing instruction to students in 1:1, small group, or whole class settings. They are responsible for maintaining student records, participating in mtss, and collaborating with staff and parents to support student learning and behavioral goals.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a current west virginia teaching certification and possess strong content knowledge with experience in special education. Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to travel for in-Person state testing and student events are required.
