They may also support Instructional Support staff in other areas and in helping students in a small group setting with tutoring, executive functioning skills, and other duties that will support students. - Responsibilities: Assist the teacher in teaching students who have learning differences Provide classroom support for students attending traditional classes Promote a positive climate Demonstrate sound classroom management skills Assist the teacher in all classroom activities Establish and maintain rapport with students and staff Able to collaborate with teachers as partners Able to disciple and mentor students Able to integrate biblical truths and a biblical worldview in teaching Support ideas and policies of the administration Maintains a professional standard of dress and an engaging personality Prompt and continuous attendance on campus QualificationsMinimum Qualifications High School Diploma Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written skills Ability to collaborate with teachers and partner with parents Understands that young children require a consistent, spiritual, safe, loving, and nurturing environment Will partner with parents to raise children who have a heart for Christ as well as preparing them for success in future education Physical Demands and Work Environment The position can be physically demanding.
