Instructor – Brookside Tots Day Camp
- Offerings in this active, hands-on program encourage self-expression and creative diversity while developing coordination and muscle skills.
- Each morning, campers and staff start by singing the morning cheer.
- Campers then move right into a full day of activities, such as art, drama, music, science, sports, and STEM.
- Each week has a theme, such as Animals, Wacky Week, When I Grow Up, Science, Earth, and Nature.
- As campers practice following directions, sharing, and safe play behaviors, social interactions and cooperation are stressed.

Duties
Interact with families and campers (boys and girls, ages 3-4) in a positive, nurturing and enriching manner. Create and execute fun and engaging lesson plans and develop materials required for specific activity content and present them for approval to the camp director in a timely manner. Oversee all assigned activities and supply inventories for the activity area. Supervise and manage all campers to ensure consistent engagement and safety for each camper during the activity. Provide enriching and creative growth experiences within the camp activities. Camp activities include Art, Drama, Music, Science & Nature, Sports, and STEM.
Qualifications
High school diploma; experience in activity; teaching experience; certified in activity or be open to early training (if applicable); superior problem-solving skills and ability to relate with campers, staff, and parents.
Preferred
Currently attending or graduated from college; camp employment experience.
Timeframe
Orientation begins the week of June 9. Camp runs Monday-Friday, June 15-August 7, with pack-away on August 8.
Wage
$17.50 per hour.
