Job description

We offer fun activities and developmental learning opportunities for children while they are in Village Care. Your job as an Assistant Teacher is to assist the Lead Teacher and help children transition from one part of the day to the next while being a patient, positive role model. We are seeking hands-on, motivated assistant teachers who truly love spending time with early learners. This is an entry-level position

Responsibilities

Assist Lead Teacher in leading pre-planned activities and supervise children during Open Play times. Respond to children’s daily needs with flexibility, patience, and nurturing. Change diapers for younger children, assist with snacks and lunch as needed. Supervise nap times and be able to keep the class rhythm flowing. Help prepare the classroom and materials for the upcoming day’s activities.

Requirements

1 years of experience with children in a coaching or babysitting capacity. Experience leading activities and working with children ages 3m-3y. Current CPR + First-Aid Certification or willingness to become certified Record of up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass a background check Excellent attitude and proactive approach to work

Benefits
