Child Life Specialist, Associate

The child life specialist provides developmentally appropriate education, preparation, and emotional support to children and families to minimize trauma associated with healthcare experiences. They facilitate therapeutic play, document care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support the psychosocial needs of patients.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in child life, child development, psychology, or a related field and have completed a 480-Hour child life internship. Certification as a child life specialist (Ccls) is required within one year of hire, along with current bls or cpr certification.
