Norris Academy has an immediate opening for a Teachers Aide/Educational Assistant. This is a temporary position for the school year.

Norris Academy, is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment program (PRTF) that serves youth between the ages of 5 and 17 with a diagnosis of Autistic Disorder, Asperger's Disorder, and other Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as Emotional and Behavioral Disorders and Developmental Delays. We are located in Andersonville, TN, about 30 minutes north of Knoxville.

Job Duties

· Order classroom supplies for teachers · Start, maintain, and complete education department files · Responsible for completion of Academic Paperwork (IEP, Report Cards, Progress Reports, Academic Evaluations, ext) · Start, maintain, and complete all student files · Scan and send files as needed for audits, within 48 hours · Ensures safety of all students, staff, and visitors

Requirements
