Overview
- Soddy Daisy Middle School Soddy Daisy Middle School is a 6-8 school located in Soddy Daisy, TN, just north of Chattanooga.
- SDMS is a smaller middle school in a very tight knit community.

Responsibilities
- Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position.
- Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.
- State Law (link- https://tssaa.org/health-safety-policies ) School Level AD should keep concussion Certificate- Copy on file every year.
- School Level AD should keep Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate- Copy on file every year.
- TSSAA/TMSAA (link- https://tssaa.org/health-safety-policies ) .
- When applicable, completion of "Fundamentals of Coaching"- Copy on file.
- When applicable, completion of "First Aid, Health, & Safety"- Copy on file.
- NEW- When applicable, completion of “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course- Copy on file every year.
