Counselor

The counselor collaborates with school staff to promote a positive school climate and supports social-Emotional learning in the classroom. They also connect with families to address attendance and other needs, and respond to crises as necessary.

Candidates must have a master’s degree in school counseling and five years of counseling experience in a public-School environment. They should also hold or be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in school counseling.
