Core responsibilities
The family peer advocate empowers families by navigating child-Serving systems and providing advocacy to help them meet their day-To-Day needs. They facilitate parent training, develop treatment and safety plans, and act as a bridge between families and service providers.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and at least one year of lived experience navigating child-Serving systems. A valid nys driver's license and the ability to obtain required credentials within six months are also mandatory.
