Position Overview The Youth Development Specialist supports the daily implementation of programs and activities that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, leadership development, and positive social growth for youth ages 6–17. This role focuses on fostering meaningful relationships with youth while maintaining a safe, structured, and inclusive Clubhouse environment.

Key Responsibilities Plan and facilitate engaging activities across education, recreation, leadership, and wellness Build positive, supportive relationships with youth and families Encourage participation and foster an inclusive, welcoming environment Reinforce positive behaviors, teamwork, and decision-making skills Support Club events, outreach efforts, and community engagement activities Assist with daily program operations, setup, materials, and reporting Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality youth programming

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse populations Energetic, patient, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license preferred Availability for occasional evenings or weekends as needed
