Job Title: Teacher’s Aide Location: The Day School at The Children’s Institute, 1405 Shady Avenue, Squirrel Hill, PA 15217 Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This is a full-time position that follows a traditional 10-month school year schedule.
About the Team The Day School is an approved private school licensed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Private Academic Schools and approved as a special education school by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Families and school districts alike have connected with our expert educational team to bring specialized education and related services, including autism support and multiple disabilities support, to nearly 200 students from 60+ school districts across western Pennsylvania each year.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience working with children. Experience with exceptional children in an educational setting is preferred, along with required criminal and child abuse clearances.
