Early Head Start Lead Teacher

The lead teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers while managing classroom operations and adhering to federal and state standards. They also act as an advocate for families, providing resources and maintaining accurate documentation of child progress and family interactions.

Candidates must hold an associate degree in early childhood education or a child development associate (Cda) credential for infant and toddler caregivers. Proficiency in microsoft office and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds are required.
