Special Education Aide – Functional Academics (FA)

The aide assists the special education teacher in providing instructional and physical support to students with disabilities. Responsibilities include managing student behavior, preparing instructional materials, and maintaining administrative records.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with an associate degree or two years of higher education preferred. The role requires the ability to work with children with disabilities and the capacity to complete the sbec certification process.
