Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher acts as the primary caregiver in the absence of a regular teacher, implementing developmentally appropriate activities and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. They are responsible for following center policies, maintaining sanitation, and fostering positive relationships with children and families.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with dcf 45-Hour training and child care experience preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and complete necessary background screenings, first aid, and cpr certifications.
