Summary MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina. This position serves as the clinical therapist for the patients in the day treatment program in Rock Hill Schools. This position will be facilitating individual, family and group therapy as well as working with the entire treatment team to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions. Job Description

Under the supervision of the School Based Behavioral Health Manager and clinical practice guidance of the psychiatrist, the day treatment therapist provides assessment, counseling, education, and safety planning for all patients consulted. The therapist works in collaboration with the clinical team and school team to meet the behavioral health needs of the patient. This position identifies treatment needs and risk factors that the patient may experience, and applies interventions and skill building techniques. Minimum Education and Experience: Master's degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
