Special Education Teacher, Behavior Support Team

The special education teacher coordinates and implements instructional programs and individual education programs (Ieps) for students with disabilities. They are responsible for monitoring student progress, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with staff and families to support student needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. Proficiency in instructional practices, iep compliance, and the ability to work in a team environment are required.
