School Based Therapist - McDowell County Schools

The school based behavioral health therapist provides outpatient mental health treatment, including individual, family, and group therapy, within assigned school settings. They are responsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and participating in crisis support and clinical service teams.

Candidates must hold a master’s degree in mental health, counseling, or social work and possess a qualifying licensure such as lcsw, lmhc, or a doctoral level psychology degree. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required, along with proficiency in microsoft office applications.
