Nurse Champion-Perinatal Neonatal Outreach Coordinator

The primary purpose is to support regional birthing facilities, health departments, providers, and community partners to collaboratively improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes in the wnc region. Key activities involve establishing risk-Appropriate care systems, promoting integrated care development, and educating clinicians on evidence-Based practices.

A registered nurse licensed in north carolina with an msn, mph, or related degree is required; a master's level credential can substitute for a bsn with five years of related experience. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in obstetrical and/Or maternal care is mandatory, along with experience working on collaborative teams and quality improvement projects.
