• In-Home Spanish Tutor (K–12) – Prep Academy Tutors, Boise, Idaho Prep Academy Tutors is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Tutor to join our team in Boise, Idaho.
• We are a private in-home tutoring company committed to delivering flexible, personalized, and high-quality educational support to students and their families.
• Position Overview: We are looking for a knowledgeable Spanish tutor to support K–12 students at varying levels of proficiency, from beginners to advanced learners.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about language education, culturally aware, and skilled at adapting lessons to meet individual student needs.
• Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one Spanish tutoring sessions (in-home) Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s goals and learning style Support students with homework, test preparation, and language skill development (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) Foster confidence and a positive learning environment Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress Maintain professionalism and reliability in all interactions

Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency preferred) Experience teaching or tutoring K–12 students Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field (preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to travel to students’ homes in the Boise area or teach virtually Teaching certification is an asset but not required
