Navigator teachers are dedicated, passionate professionals who are driven to impact the lives of traditionally underserved students. Teachers are coached weekly to constantly improve their practice, use technology on a daily basis in Navigator’s cutting edge blended educational program, build and promote critical thinking skills, and maintain strong relationships with students in order to deliver an exceptional educational experience.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree and valid California Teaching Credential required ● 1-3 years of teaching experience working with a diverse student population preferred ● Bilingual Spanish a plus ● Driven to obliterate the achievement gap by providing high quality education to every student that walks through our doors, regardless of any barriers they may have faced in the past ● Committed to evolving personal teaching practices and instructional delivery in order to best serve students ● Welcome change and thrive on growth in response to student needs ● Embrace challenges as opportunities; demonstrate perseverance and grit in the fact of opposition
