  • You’ll Do: Provides psychiatric assistance to behaviorally or emotionally disturbed clients of agency's treatment programs, and to their families, collaborating with psychiatric and treatment review team in diagnosis and treatment planning; interprets clinical information to pertinent team members; demonstrates understanding of systems theory; cultural diversity, self-determination and self-awareness issues; applies knowledge of child growth and development; provides case management services to children on caseload, including but not limited to assessing, linking, and monitoring all services received; intervenes in the cycle of crisis and prevent unnecessary restraints or seclusions. Ensures the use of less restrictive interventions to minimize restraints and seclusions as appropriate; ensures crisis plans are created and followed; provides clinical supervision of staff.
