Somerset Hills YMCA is currently seeking multiple Swim Instructors to help swimmers of various ages and levels to build confidence in and around the water. We are looking for energetic individuals to support our mission in strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Hours: Various Shifts Available
Maintains a safe, instructional, and supportive environment Teaches students the principles of correct stroke, water safety, and swimming endurance Teaches group classes to preschool and school aged children Develops appropriate introduction to a variety of water sports/activities
Arrives to work five (5) minutes before shift starts Wear appropriate and professional uniform/attire All other duties as assigned
YSL and/or WSI certification (obtain upon hire) Blood borne Pathogens Training within 60 days of hire SH YMCA Child Abuse Prevention Training within 30 days of hire SH YMCA New Staff Orientation Training within 90 days of hire
