- Category: CoachWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach for our Boys' Volleyball team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching volleyball, with a focus on developing players both technically and mentally. Responsibilities include designing and implementing practice sessions, developing game strategies, and providing guidance and support to players on and off the court.

- FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the school Athletic Director, the Boys Volleyball coach is responsible for oversight of all levels within the program/sport. MAJOR DUTIES AND
- RESPONSIBILITIES (may include, but are not limited to the following): · Follow and uphold the policies and mission statement of the school. · Plan, organize, and direct the school’s team program. · Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team development. · Ensure that team rules and regulations regarding conduct and eligibility of the athletes are clearly communicated and followed. · Plan, organize, advertise, and conduct tryouts for the team program; informthe Athletic Department and participants of final selections. Maintain the integrity of the selection process. · Consult with the Athletic Director regarding any off-season training programs, including scheduling dates for summer caps/practices, uniform fitting, and pre- and post-tryout informational parent meetings. · Attend informational parent meetings at the beginning of each season for all levels. · Create a safe environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. · Work directly with the school athletic trainer in reporting injuries, teaching precautions and procedures to ensure staff/student safety, and help students prevent injuries. · Model good sportsmanship behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards opposing team, fans, parents, officials, spectators, and community. · Run a comprehensive and objective practice, up to 2 hours per day. · Run high-energy, technically correct, and physically challenging practices. · Must attend Pre and Post Season league meetings. · Models and supports the FSE mission and values throughout the performance of all duties and responsibilities. · May perform other related duties as assigned.
- EXPERIENCE: Must have previous high school coaching experience. Must possess a positive coaching philosophy and excellent communication and organizational skills.
