Core responsibilities
The lead teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate classroom activities in accordance with head start standards and dcf regulations. They also collaborate with the teacher assistant to foster a team-Based approach to instruction and maintain strong relationships with families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have completed dcf 45-Hour training and possess at least an associate degree in child development or a related field. A minimum of four months of experience teaching preschool-Age children is required.
