- JOB SUMMARY: Creates weekly on-air schedule and works with student and community DJs to make sure they are compliant with FCC rules and regulations. SPECIFIC DUTIES: 1. Assist the General Manager in planning, organizing and running weekly Executive Board and General Staff meetings 2. Develop and manage a programming schedule each semester with individual DJs 3. Create and maintain attendance records and rosters for the Executive Board and general DJ membership 4. Monitor, maintain, and respond to the Program Director Gmail account 5. Communicate with all DJs about University and FCC rules and regulations 6. Schedule shadowing sessions for new DJs 7. Other duties and/or projects as assigned by the professional staff QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have prior experience of 1-semester minimum on WDCE Executive Board
- Must possess problem solving and growth mindset with a positive attitude and an initiative to resolve questions or concerns
- Must work a minimum of 4 office hours per week
- Preferred qualification of a 1-hour (minimum) on-air show
- Must attend all weekly Executive Board meetings and General Staff Meetings (unless previously-approved absence)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Forms, Google Calendar and social media platforms
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
