About the Role

Clarvida is seeking a Family Time Facilitator to support families involved in the child welfare system through supervised family time. In this role, you will facilitate visits between children and their families using a trauma-informed approach, with a focus on safety, skill-building, and strengthening family bonds to support successful reunification. This is a flexible, community-based role that includes evenings and weekends. You will work independently while collaborating closely with caseworkers and families, providing coaching, documentation, and advocacy throughout the visitation process.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise family visitation sessions in homes, community settings, or Clarvida offices
  • Provide trauma-informed parenting skills training and psychoeducation
  • Offer real-time coaching, redirection, and modeling of appropriate parenting strategies
  • Support goal-setting with families and caseworkers
  • Document visit observations, progress, and concerns accurately and timely
  • Report any concerns related to safety or alleged abuse/neglect as required
  • Testify in court when needed
  • Provide transportation for clients when required by referral
  • Maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships with families

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or related)
  • Experience working with children and families, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage an independent schedule
  • Experience using Excel or similar documentation tools
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Active auto insurance
