Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA): 2026-27 SY

The speech language pathologist assistant implements therapy plans and iep goals under the supervision of a licensed slp to support student communication outcomes. They are responsible for collecting accurate session data, documenting progress, and preparing instructional materials for individual or group sessions.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders or a related field and possess current slpa certification in colorado. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage student data, and a willingness to train in nonviolent crisis intervention techniques.
