Paraprofessional, 1:1 elementary special education - 1st grade

Provides individualized academic, behavioral, and daily living support to elementary students with disabilities as outlined in their ieps. Monitors classroom activities and collects data on student goals under the direction of a special education teacher.

Requires completion of district-Approved training in de-Escalation and physical restraint, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and personal hygiene assistance. Must maintain a permanent home address in colorado and meet district insurability requirements.
