Family Resource and Support Specialist (FRSS)

The specialist provides intensive home visiting services to at-Risk expecting families and parents of newborns, focusing on supporting positive parent-Child relationships and enhancing family functioning. Responsibilities include conducting standardized assessments, developing service plans, providing health education, and connecting families to necessary community resources.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, though college coursework is preferred, along with experience working with high-Risk families in a community setting. Candidates must possess knowledge of infant and child development, strong interpersonal skills for building trust, cultural humility, and proficiency in microsoft word and data entry.
