The Math Teacher will implement educational plans using Edgenuity and MyPath while maintaining a safe, structured learning environment. They are responsible for writing Individualized Education Plans and documenting student behavior within a behavioral psychiatric hospital setting.
A bachelor’s degree required, masters preferred from an accredited four-year college or university in the subject area to be taught (Special Education) and possession of a valid MS “A” teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught as required by the Department of Education and agree to obtain the EmD Certification within one year from hired date. Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification; current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
