Counselor

The counselor collaborates with teachers and school staff to promote a positive school climate and support student social-Emotional learning. They also connect with families to enhance home-School communication and respond to student needs through individual and group support.

Candidates must have a master’s degree in school counseling and five years of counseling experience in a public-School environment. They should also hold or be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in school counseling.
