Special Education Teacher, Emotional and Behavioral Support I (Early Hire)

The teacher will coordinate and provide direct instructional programs for special education students, including developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps). They are responsible for monitoring student progress, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with the school team to meet educational needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
