The coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in developing student athletes through game strategies, technique instruction, and positive mentorship. They must also manage practice schedules, ensure player safety, and maintain compliance with school and athletic regulations.
Position is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of their respective sport including coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition and motivating student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.
The Executive Principal in consultation with the Administrative Team and Athletic Director shall hire all coaching staff.

Coaching recruitment agencies (i.e. EdJoin and ACSI Job Line) will be utilized when possible.

After review of application packets, highly qualified individuals will be given a short introductory phone interview conducted by the Executive Principal and/or Athletic Director.
Highly qualified individuals will then be invited to interview with the Administrative Team and Athletic Director.
Verification of previous employment, State and Federal background checks, and professional and personal reference checks of strong candidates will be administered.
Qualified candidates will then be invited to a Theological Interview with a Staff Pastor/Executive Director
The Administrative Team and Athletic Director will make recommendations to the Executive Director for potential hires.

Ability to stand, walk, and move around the field for extended periods during practices and games. Must be able to lift and carry football equipment and demonstrate drills to players. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during school breaks for games and practices.
