Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher provides a nurturing and safe environment for children while implementing developmentally appropriate educational activities. They are responsible for maintaining classroom discipline, ensuring safety standards, and communicating effectively with families and staff.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with preference given to those with dcf 45-Hour training and childcare experience. Candidates must possess current first aid and cpr certifications and be able to perform heavy physical work.
