Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):

Help the Music Department AAA with a variety of tasks to keep the department humming (pun intended) for 4-5 hours per week.

Duties: and Responsibilities:

Help the Music Department AAA with a wide-range of duties, including filing, copying, organizing cabinets and storage spaces, distributing the mail, hanging posters, updating Google Docs, Forms, and Sheets, etc. Answering or returning phone calls as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

Familiarity with Music Department procedures and website preferred. Non-majors are very welcome to apply.

Dependability and reliability are required, including the ability to meet deadlines. Well-organized and ability to work with little supervision at times. The candidate must be able to responsibly handle access to confidential information.

Ability to use Google Suite preferred. Ability to learn how to use WordPress.

Physical and Environmental Factors

This position requires occasional crouching, kneeling/crawling, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, and lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs. to perform the essential functions. It also requires rare exposure to loud noise, as well as rare exposure to respiratory factors (dust) to perform the essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
