High School CTE - Patient Care Technician - Metro Region

The patient care assistant provides direct care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility. They also perform continuous patient observation and ensure the patient environment remains clean and orderly.

Candidates must be high school students enrolled in a cte program and possess or be willing to obtain basic life support certification. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and knowledge of infection control and patient care standards.
