Social Studies teachers develop and deliver engaging humanities curriculum to diverse learners while preparing students for New York State Regents exams. They also provide socio-emotional support and foster critical thinking through research, debate, and authentic exploration.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid New York State Social Studies Certification. Proven experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and tailoring instruction to diverse student needs is required.
