Core responsibilities
The community health worker will recruit participants and deliver cancer prevention education sessions in-Person, virtually, or by phone. They will also provide follow-Up navigation calls to assist participants with breast and cervical cancer screenings and hpv vaccinations.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a texas department of state health services (Dshs) community health worker certification and possess at least one year of relevant experience in health, social work, or education. A high school diploma or ged is the minimum educational requirement, and bilingual proficiency in spanish is highly preferred.
