DRAFT American Sign Language Interpreter ASL

The american sign language interpreter will provide asl services to students in a classroom setting and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. They are responsible for supporting students throughout the school day while adhering to district duties and maintaining accurate documentation.

Candidates must possess american sign language interpretation certification, an eipa score of 3.5 or higher, and rid certification. An associate or bachelor's degree in an interpreter training program or asl-English interpreting is preferred, along with experience in k-12 classrooms.
