Student Worker – Teacher’s Aide: (Fall 26 & Spring 27)

Purpose/Objective of the Role

The Early Childhood Center is a community preschool and university lab school enrolling children between the ages of three and five years of age.

Student staff serve as teacher’s aides and gain valuable experiences working directly with young children and their families.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assisting the head classroom teacher with the following activities: 1. Outdoor play 2. Snack time 3. Daily instructional activities
  • Work as a team with other student staff and head classroom teachers.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children
  • Completion of successful FBI and BCI background check
  • Completion of ODJFS medical exam
  • Certification in Infant/child CPR and First Aid
