Luke School, located in Dundalk, Maryland, is seeking a full-time, qualified Middle School Mathematics Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year.
The Middle School Math Teacher will be responsible for the direct supervision and instruction of students.
He/she will provide a Catholic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership, achievement, and service within the church and community.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.
Essential Functions
Follows and maintains knowledge of AoB policies and procedures.
Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students.
Plan and execute an instructional program that upholds the values and ideals of the Catholic Church.
Create an instructional environment conducive to learning that is appealing and organized.
Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Safely and actively supervise students both inside and outside of the classroom.
Expertly integrate GSuite for Education into a 21st-century classroom.
Meet the needs, interest, and abilities of students in accordance with the curriculum; effective instruction will include differentiated learning.
Position Qualifications
Degree in Math or Education with a Math Concentration.
MSDE teacher certification in Education for Math or the desire to obtain this.
Knowledge curriculum, and principles and practices of pedagogy.
Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as to enrich and differentiate instruction.
Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of state and federal fingerprint background checks, completion of VIRTUS Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
