Wound Care Specialist - IP Wound Care - Per Diem 8 hours (8:00AM to 4:30PM) (Non-Union, Non-Exempt)

The wound care specialist provides expert clinical care for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and skin integrity issues while acting as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team. They also facilitate regulatory compliance, participate in hospital committees, and provide education to staff and patients.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in nursing and possess at least 2 years of recent wound care experience. A valid california rn license, bls certification, and cwocn or nawco certification are required.
