Diabetes Educator I or II, Ambulatory

Provides diabetes self-Management education and medical nutrition therapy to patients while managing a distinct patient population. Collaborates with healthcare providers to develop individualized protocols and empower patients with behavior modification techniques.

Requires a bachelor's degree in dietetics or nutrition and a registered dietitian (Rd) certification. Candidates must possess strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
